The Dreadful Day

So, as we all know Valentine’s Day is coming soon. I must admit I personally hate that particular day. The reason of my distaste isn’t because the commercialism takes away from the true meaning of St. Valentine’s Day, but the truth is I’ve never had a Valentines. I never had a card given to me, no box of chocolates no teddy bear, not even a call that say Happy V. Day. So as this dreaded day approaches, I must help all my friends decide what they’re given the men in their lives and try to guess with them on what they are most likely to receive. Meanwhile, I’ll be cursing silently, because I know that I won’t be getting anything. I know the importance to Valentine’s Day is to show every person you care for that you care for them. Yes, I know that I am blessed to have a wonderful family who loves me and cares for me. I also know my family would give me the world if I ask. I still want a male non family member to show me some respect. One day it will happen I feel it I know it but until that day comes, every February 14, I’ll remain alone and hate Valentine’s Day.

Her pain/ His gain

She looked out the window and softly said a prayer that nothing would go wrong.
His blinked his head lights three times as he told her he would over the phone.
She looked in the mirror one last time and rushed down the stairs.
He slowly walked to the front down then knocked three times softly so the parents wouldn’t hear.
She open the door then guide him upstairs.
He grabbed her butt then kissed her neck has they made it up the stairs.
She jumped and moaned at the pleasure and pain of the actions that just took place.
He whispered in her ear,
“I can’t wait to have you in my arms. You’re so beautiful words can’t expressed”
She held back the tears for she really believed that he was her Prince Charming.
Once in the bedroom, he removed the t-shirt then kissed her.
A shiver went up her spine, as she received her first real kiss.
He laid her across the floor and began to deflower her.
She whined in pain then relaxed.
He kissed her fourteen year old body, as she admired his manly physique.
He felt the minutes go by as hours while she noticed the quickness.
She mentally started to plan the wedding and honeymoon while he planned his escape.
He quietly got dress then quickly left.
She started to cry as asked him over and over what went wrong.
He smiled to himself and said “Nothing babe, see you next time.”
She continued to called him days after that night.
He came, had sex and leave her in tears.
She prayed for strength to stop calling
He prayed she’d keep calling.
She broke down one day and said “I love you”
He laughed and said, “It’s over”
She never forgot the months and the pain it caused.
He never knew the effect of his actions.
She wised up and learned from those months.
He could care less what she had learned for he got what he wanted.
